I’ll be posting weekly results, usually on a Thursday, as well as the occasional notice.
Last week’s results (6th Nov) are there now. Facebook doesn’t allow formatting so it looks a bit text-y [sorry, on behalf of facebook!]. It’s currently an open group – anyone can join and post there. We’ll review that situation over the coming weeks if we get overrun with overseas princes or people needing money sent to bail them out of jail…..

for entries to the following competitions

Season Starts Tomorrow Night + League Rule Change | 10th September 2018 |
In time for the start of the new season tomorrow night, please note the change to rule xi as agreed at last month’s AGM (amendment in bold):
xi. Any team fielding one player or no players to a match shall be deemed to have forfeited that match and the points to the scheduled opposing team. Notwithstanding rule xiii below, any team that cancels a match giving less than 24 hours’ notice and/or cannot agree an alternative date with the scheduled opposing team shall be deemed to have forfeited that match and the points to the scheduled opposing team. A team defaulting in this manner on any three occasions during the season shall be disqualified from the league.
Revised Fixture Schedule for 2018-19 – Matches Start Tuesday 11th September | 25th August 2018 |
Following a poll in which an overwhelming majority voted for more games in the season, the leagues have been changed from a 3-leg to a 4-leg structure and a new fixture schedule has been generated. This has been distributed to the team captains and is available from the Tables/Stats/Fixtures section of this website.
Matches will now start on 11th September and run through to 7th May 2019, with the Team Championship knockout stages taking place on 14th, 21st and 28th May.

2018-19 Season Starts 18th September | 23rd August 2018 |
The teams were entered at last night’s AGM for the season. Coopers X, Barratts Lions, Barratts Bears and Far Cotton have decided to drop out of the league. Far Cotton are moving venues and shall be called Barratts Misfits. Meanwhile, we welcome two new teams to the league, Barratts Cubs and Barratts Ballbreakers.
In all, twenty teams are playing this season; seven in each of the Premier Division and Division 1, and six in Division 2. Team Championship groups are each made up of five teams. The fixtures have been generated, with the season starting on 18th September and the last league games on 30th April 2019 (Team Championship knockout matches are 7th, 14th and 21st May).
