Singles Cup Finals – 22nd May at Cheyne Walk 7pm | 1st May 2018 |
The finals for the Town Cup and Non-Winners Trophy will be held at Cheyne Walk on Tuesday 22nd May, starting at 7pm (best of 7 frames).
The Town Cup final is between Jon Thorpe and defending champion David Brown.
In the Non-Winners Trophy, last year’s semi-finalist Richie Matthews goes up against Harley Allen.
Spectators are more than welcome to watch both matches. Please remember it is a 7pm start.

Although there are two match results to come from Barratts Lions that could affect the final league positions, they cannot escape the bottom two. However, if teams are added or disappear at the next AGM, a 7th place position could be enough to keep them in the Premier Division next year.

Congratulations to Cheyne Walk, who last night secured the title of the Premier Division, ending a 12(+?) year run by the team now known as Coopers X. Runners-up last year by only two points, Andy Munton, Ross Buthee and Brett Gant have played consistently well all season, with each of the trio playing in every single game. A true team effort – well done!
