Congratulations to Coopers X, who last night not only won the Team Championship for the 5th year in a row (in a 7th frame decider), but also secured their 12th consecutive year as Premier League champions (the team played previously as St James A, Derngate Z and Kingsley A).

Congratulations to Connor Singleton who tops the High Break table for this season with a 117-break in the first frame of the evening against Jon Thorpe last night.

Ronnie and Biagio are the WM Blind Pairs winners 2016, beating Ben Jackson and Wendyl Cuffey 2-1 in the final played at Far Cotton. Ronnie made a 39 break in the deciding frame that proved vital in securing the frame for the 2013 winners. Pictured with Ronnie and Biagio are Ken Tidbury and Geoff Barron from the blind association. Earlier in the evening, Ron Gibson presented a cheque to them from the Northampton Snooker League for £150.

Ryan Roberts beat Adam Goff 4-2 in the final of the Non-Winners Trophy 2016. It was a good contest between the two friends. Ryan went 2-0 up, but Adam cleared for 2-1. Ryan then had a 44 to restore his 2 frame advantage 3-1. Adam dominated the fifth for 3-2 and almost forced a decider in the sixth frame, but he left the final black in the jaws for Ryan to take the frame for 4-2. A great performance by Ryan, especially as he has been ill for most of the week.

Ronnie Kralj has won the Town Cup, claiming the title for the first time. He had a 4-0 victory against the 2012 champion Neil Martin in the final played at Cheyne Walk. Well played, Ronnie.
