Following this evening’s AGM:
Team News
Three teams from last season are not playing in the coming season:
One new team has joined the league, Cheyne Walk Subs.
Coopers B are moving to Far Cotton and shall play as the Far Cotton Buds.
Barratts Wooden Spoons shall be playing from a new venue, Northampton Conservative Club and are to be called the Conservative Club Spoons.
League Tables
The league shall comprise of 8 teams in the Premier Division, and 7 teams in both Division 1 and Division 2.
In order to give more chance for teams from the lower leagues to progress in the Team Championship, the handicaps shall be increased by 7 points from last year. Premiership teams shall play of scratch, Division 1 teams will get 21 and Division 2 teams 28.
Pairs Competition
Due to the closure of the WM Blind charity, the Pairs Competition shall simply be the Pairs Competition for the coming season. It shall remain the same in all other respects.
League matches will commence on Tuesday 12th September.
Fixture lists will be emailed to the team captains and shall appear on this website once the fixtures are generated.

A.G.M.
There will be an A.G.M. of Northampton Snooker League on Wednesday 16 th August at Far Cotton W.M.C. commencing at 7.30pm.
Will all clubs who wish to enter teams for the seasons please send a representative to this meeting and register their teams.
We wish to remind clubs that any unpaid monies due to the league for season will result in those clubs responsible being unable to enter this coming season.
Any notice of motion can be proposed by email or post to the secretary at the above address (proposer and seconder names to be entered with the relevant motion)

WM Blind Pairs Winners – Andy Munton / Phil Gimbert | 2nd June 2017 |
Congratulations to Andy Munton and Phil Gimbert, who beat Jon Thorpe and David Ballard in the final of the WM Blind Pairs competition 2-0 at Far Cotton WMC on Wednesday 31st May.
Congratulations to David Brown and Adam Goff | 20th May 2017 |
Wednesday night saw two close ties in the Town Cup and Non-Winners Trophy, held at Cheyne Walk, with both matches going to deciding frames.
In the Town Cup, David Brown beat Ronnie Kralj 4-3 to claim the title for the first time. Last year, David lost out to Ronnie in the semi-final.
Meanwhile, in the Non-Winners Trophy, Adam Goff beat Kev Portley 4-3. Adam was the losing finalist in 2016.

Congratulations to Coopers X, who last night not only won the Team Championship for the 5th year in a row (in a 7th frame decider), but also secured their 12th consecutive year as Premier League champions (the team played previously as St James A, Derngate Z and Kingsley A).
