David Brown won the Town Cup for the fifth time last night, beating Ross Buthee 4-0 in the final and finishing with a 60 break in the last frame.

That makes it three years in a row that David has gone unbeaten in the competition.

A fabulous performance. Congratulations David!

Clubsports Originals retained their Premier League title, finishing 9 points clear of Cheyne Walk Q’s. That’s two years in a row that they have finished top of the league. Well done!

Congratulations to Micky McMahon and Gareth Edwards who beat Corey Reyes and Corey Judge 2-0 in the final of the Pairs Cup last night.

Both pairs came through their respective semi-finals 2-0.

Regrettably, Clubsports LA have taken the decision to withdraw from the league, due to a lack of available players.

Because this has happened so late in the season, it was decided for past/future fixtures:

• League matches that have been played should stand.
• For unplayed league matches, the opposing team should receive a 6-0 win due to a no-show by Clubsports LA
• In the Team Championship, Clubsports LA should be removed entirely, and all past and future fixtures deleted

The draws for this season’s singles and pairs competitions are now live.
